A set of three training DVDs, filmed using the Korg Pa1X Professional Arranger and also applicable to the Pa800 and Pa2x models is now available. The DVD's were produced independently of Korg and on a not-for-profit basis by members of the independent Korg Forums newsgroup (www.korgforums.com). The production team are most grateful to Korg for their kind consent for this project to go ahead.

Important note: this is an unofficial release therefore not distributed and supported using the normal Korg distribution channels. For ordering and support follow the instructions below.

The demonstrator in the DVD's is Chris Whitehead in the UK who for many years has been a professional demonstrator of Korg keyboards. He is also an excellent musician and recording artist.

Each DVD has over 30 different tutorials, the subject matter is summarised by the headings below. The production team comprised Korg Forum members Rob Sherratt, Worth Quarrie and Michael Barry, assisted by Rob's son Paul who designed the artwork and DVD menu system, and Sean Ashmore and Graham Milligan who assisted with DVD duplication and distribution.

Where does the money go?

This is a not-for-profit venture run by various "press ganged" members of Korg Forums who contributed collectively over 700 hours labour without pay. The price of the DVD's covers outgoings such as the cost of the studio time plus media, plus travel costs, production facilities and lighting. Any surplus funds from the sale of the DVD's will go towards future projects. There will be a fourth DVD produced during 2008, the content being based on feedback from customers.
